Resumo: Os objectivos deste livro consistem em: (1) reflexão sobre a fruição generalizada de imagens na esfera digital e intangível, assim como a respectiva manipulação gráfica e artística, como experiências estéticas possíveis de uma alargada problematização, resultando desta um conjunto eloquente de temas para nossa indagação e debate público. (2) Reconduzir algumas das questões deixadas em aberto na obra de parceria do ano transacto, "Ensaios sobre reprodutibilidade", o que permite acalentar a esperança de continuidade na investigação sobre as mesmas, designadamente no que concerne às vicissitudes e processualidades digitais da vivência estética contemporânea. (3) Apresentação de um conjunto heteróclito de perspectivas sobre os temas em foco, de modo a poder ser proporcionada uma visão entretecida e plural do impacto da experiência digital na arte e design.
