CIEBA, mainly financed by the funds managed and awarded by the national agency Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia (FCT), can provide support for the expenses resulting from the research carried out under the CIEBA project, in order to achieve its objectives.

It is also the purpose of the CIEBA funding that the results of the research carried out at the center should be disseminated and promoted as a way of disseminating scientific knowledge.

How to apply for support?

To request support, it is mandatory to submit an application to the FBAUL Financial Division by completing an appropriate request for this purpose to be sent to the e-mail: investigacao@belasartes.ulisboa.pt

For each type of supplier / expense, a request filled out with the information requested (in red), and others that are considered relevant, must be presented for budget preview. Below are the various requisition models. For some category not contemplated the model requisition is available and can be adapted.

req_modelo

The basis for the request for support, to be filled at the bottom of the form, is essential for the analysis of the pertinence and approval of the request. The reasoning should reflect the need for the realization of the expenditure to fulfill the objectives of the CIEBA, in the sense of being indispensable for the research activity and / or for the dissemination of research results.

FCT financial rules

In order to finance expenses, it is mandatory to verify some rules and to provide certain documents required by FCT:

Missions

Presentation of communications / posters:

• Letter of acceptance (together with the request form for support)
• Summary of the communication / poster (along with the request form for support)
• Certificate of attendance of the event
• It is mandatory to consult the required Affiliation Rules
• It is mandatory to include the publicity of the support: CIEBA logo and FCT logo
• In the case of air travel: boarding passes (round trip)

Colloquia

Invited Speakers:

• Speakers’ curriculum vitae
• Communication that the speaker will present at the event
• Event program with the names of the speakers
• For payment of Fees, complete the form: Services Doc. If Non-Resident also fill in the Doc. Request of NIF PT
• In the case of air travel: boarding passes (round trip)
• It is mandatory to include the publicity of the support in all documents / publicity sites: CIEBA Logo and FCT Logo

Advertisements

• Correct foundation of the results of the research that are being disseminated in the paper and pertinence of it within the goals and tragets of CIEBA

IMPORTANT NOTES:

– The FCT does not allow refunds to the researcher. It is mandatory to submit an invoice on behalf of the institution and the transfer of the amounts to be paid is made directly from the CIEBA / FBAUL to the supplier. When you ask for support, please be informed of the rules to be followed and do not expect personal reimbursement.

– It should be emphasized that expenditure resulting from the investigation of the CIEBA project, which is supported by the center and, consequently, by the FCT, will have to be duly advertised by the inclusion of the logos wherever there is room for them ( ex.publications, posters / communications presentations, event announcements, …):
