Designer, professor and researcher working at the intersection of design, technology and business. He is a Product Design Lead (R&D) at Nokia, driving large-scale automation and AI-driven systems. Previously, he led software innovation for consumer and enterprise products at the Volkswagen Group. He co-founded and directs the Postgraduate Program in Digital Experience Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon (est. 2015), and is an Integrated Researcher at CIEBA. He holds a PhD in Design (2023) — with a specialization in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) — and an MFA in Communication Design and New Media (2015) from the University of Lisbon, and a BA in Graphic Design and Advertising (2006) from the Polytechnic University of Porto.
