PHD in Design (2021) with the thesis Authorship in Glass Design in Portugal: 1950-2000 in FAUL – Faculdade de Arquitetura da Universidade de Lisboa. Design Researcher. She has a degree in Industrial Design at ESAD.CR – Escola Superior de Artes e Design de Caldas da Rainha (2011). She also has a Master in Art Theory (2005) at FBAUL – Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa with a thesis intitled The Design in the Glass Industry in Portugal at the XXth Century, and a Post-Graduation in Design with GSA – Glasgow School of Art (1997). She has a degree / C.E.S.E - Curso de Estudos Superiores Especializados in Art Expertise and a Bachellor in Furniture in Decorative Arts: Furniture Design at ESAD – FRESS: Escola Superior de Artes Decorativas da Fundação Ricardo do Espírito Santo e Silva (1995).  Integrated Research Member of VICARTE - Glass and Ceramics for the Arts I&D Unit. Collaborating Research Member at iA* - Arts Research Unit and member of the iLab DESSIDE- Design for Sustainability, Social Innovation, and Development – iA*- UBI and of DesignaLab iA* - UBI, since 2025. Research Member of CIEBA - Centre for Studies and Research in Fine Arts I&D Unit at Design Group. Fields of Research: Contemporary Glass and Ceramics, Sustainable Design Products, Craft Design and Jewellery Design in Portugal. She also worked as industrial designer for ATLANTIS – Cristais de Alcobaça, S.A. of VAA – Vista Alegre Atlantis Group and for the Glass Cluster MGlass – Marinha Grande (1999-2001). She was jewellery designer at Ouro-Polido – Indústria do Ouro, Lda., since 1998 until 2011. She made an internship as designer at Leitão & Irmão, Antigos Joalheiros da Coroa. She also participated in the Fileira - Mesa Project at – Vitrocristal (2001/2002) and made an internship as industrial designer in GRESVAL – Fábrica de Produtos de Grés (Águeda). She draw products for industrial glass production like the tableware Collection Oásis or Effects Collection (2001) as a deskset, or the Jewellery Collection with Glass and Silver Link Light for MGlass (2001).
